Many patients and physicians have the ability to assist themselves and others in leading a healthier lifestyle, they just don’t quite know where to start. The CHIP project is a local program that is completely run by volunteers with a goal of educating others about the importance of proper nutrition and exercise. The program has been shown to not only have a dramatic impact on participant’s physical health, but on their mental health as well. Many found that they had enhanced psychological well being due to heightened confidence and overall wellness.
