Vitamin E is a underestimated antioxidant. Vitamin E is a mineral that our body does not produce, so you will have to find it in forms of food or supplements. Research has shown that when you get Vitamin E you are increasing your heart health, but only if you do not get it from supplements. When ingested with food and not a supplement, it is thought to help prevent cancer, but the research is lacking on that one.
