The LUV Diet vs. the Ketogenic Diet—You Can Have It Both Ways

In the world of nutrition, ketosis has been an increasingly common trend over the past decade. In recent scientific studies, it has been found that elevated uric acid plays a major role in metabolic chaos. High levels of uric acid play an essential role in many metabolic challenges, including obesity and high blood pressure, as well as insulin resistance. Therefore, a diet that aims to lower uric acid, such as the ketogenic diet, is an important tool for better metabolic functioning. The LUV Diet is similar to the ketogenic diet because they both include colorful vegetables that are rich in fiber. However, the main difference between these two diets is that The LUV Diet limits the amount of meat and fish because they contain higher amounts of purines, which eventually form uric acid.
