In the world of nutrition, ketosis has been an increasingly common trend over the past decade. In recent scientific studies, it has been found that elevated uric acid plays a major role in metabolic chaos. High levels of uric acid play an essential role in many metabolic challenges, including obesity and high blood pressure, as well as insulin resistance. Therefore, a diet that aims to lower uric acid, such as the ketogenic diet, is an important tool for better metabolic functioning.
