Over the years, mainstream sources of health data have pointed patients looking to prevent or maintain type 2 diabetes into a carbohydrate-free world. Surprisingly, recent data has emerged that shows us this may not be the most effective approach. Our bodies have been shown to process different carbohydrates in different ways, and many of them prove to play a vital role in an overall healthy diet. The key is to find a nutritional plan that finds balance across all macro and micronutrients.
