For example, many people believe that a vegan diet does not offer enough protein, although by eating a variety of plant products, humans can consume all the necessary protein they need. Other myths surrounding veganism that have since been disproven include the necessity of vegan supplements, the dangers of soy, and how these diets can be expensive.
