Air pollution could be harmful to not only our lungs and heart, but our brains as well. Evidence has demonstrated that air pollution can be related to the long-term health and behavior of humans. It can result in inflammation of the brain which can cause brain-related impairments, as well as disease. There is concern that even a small brain dysfunction could result in major consequences. Animal studies have provided evidence that air pollution affects their brains in a negative way.
