- 1 ripe avocado fruit
- 3/4 cup unsweetened dark chocolate (preferably organic Cacao)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1–2 tsp cacao powder for coating
- 10–15 drops stevia
Instructions
- Begin by melting the unsweetened dark chocolate (cacao) slowly. You can do this using a double boiler or by microwaving it in short intervals, stirring until it’s completely melted.
- In a separate bowl, mash up the ripe avocado until it’s smooth and free of lumps.
- Once the chocolate is melted and the avocado is well mashed, combine them in a mixing bowl.
- Add the vanilla extract, a pinch of cinnamon, and 10-15 drops of stevia to the mixture. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
- Place the mixture in the fridge to set for approximately thirty minutes. This will help it firm up.
- After the mixture has cooled and hardened, use a spoon to scoop it into 10-12 equal portions and roll each portion into smooth balls.
- Roll each truffle in cacao powder to coat it before serving.
